Our first attempt at a conference was on all accounts a wonderful success! Over 70 women from across Atlantic Canada joined us in Moncton to celebrate their passion for agriculture, learn from speakers and each other, and just have a great time! Women who joined us had a diverse background - some farm, some work off farm while their partner farms, some work in government, some simply love the industry! Before the conference was over, women wanted to know when the next would be! Our Keynote speaker was Ms. Michele Payne-Knoper and workshops covered topics from health, financial planning, marketing, exercise, gardening and more!

Our second conference was another success. 84 women from across Atlantic Canada returned to Moncton with over 50% returning from our first conference! Our keynote speaker was Ms. Leona Dargis and workshops covered topics from health, negotiation skills, financial management, couponing, managing a busy life and more! A great time was had by all and many old friends were able to reunite and new friendships made!

We headed back to Moncton, NB for our 5th edition and for the first time the weather had quite an impact! Snow storms are never fun, and we had several ladies cancel or unable to make it - but for those that left home early or traveled thru the snow, it was a great weekend. We started with a new feature - an afternoon of touring for 25 ladies who visited 3 Agriculture related operations in the Moncton area. The ladies visited Dairy Sweet Holsteins, Perfect Pocket, and the Magnetic Hill winery. While the roads were a challenge - the tour went ahead! Olympic athlete and PEI native, Heather Moyse was our Friday night keynote address. On Saturday we explored
Congratulations to Amy vanderHeide from NS, our Outstanding Woman in Agriculture!
